KING SUDAS AND THE BATTLE OF THE TEN KINGS

“The Vedas are the lighthouse of eternal wisdom leading man to salvation and inspiring him to supreme accomplishment.”

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

In Vedas and in Vedic literature, King Sudas was always connected with so-called … The Battle of the Ten Kings. This is the epic just like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, by the way. In India, it is admired and revered just as these two previously mentioned epics. Nevertheless, if for the historicity of Ramayana and Mahabharata we can say that they are in haze, what then to say about the historicity of King Sudas? Indeed, when King Sudas is in question, there are no certainties anymore, and he could be placed before or after the Ramayana, but before or after the Mahabharata as well. There is absolutely no clue. History lines were mixed up to the level of unrecognition. Even the story itself is heavily distorted so that some parts were taken and added to other epics. A truth-loving observer would have only one attribute for such like situation. What a mess? – this is the only thought one truth-loving person would highlight immediately when seeing this situation.

Well, that means, an idea to find historical King Sudas and his era was rather weird. Therefore, where to start?

Nevertheless, there was a crack in that monolith illusionary construction. Perhaps, you would not believe, the crack was exactly the … Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT). In fact, King Sudas and his era were connected somehow with the AIT. This is what scientists say. This is all right, but I knew something else. I knew that the AIT scientists are talking about is not reflecting the complete truth. Nevertheless, because of that connection of King Sudas with AIT, which scientists regularly do repeat, I was of opinion that we need to search for him as it is possibly closer to our time, but not after the time frame of 1800-1900 B.C.E., when a big wave of migration out of India did start, what is covered by … Out of India Theory (OIT). Indeed, there is one scientist, and this is an Indian Sanskrit Scholar Prof. P. L. Bhargava, who advocated the idea that historical King Sudas was around just about 2.350 B.C.E. Just about that point I started my own research on the historical King Sudas. This is the point where I did lean Vedic Astrology-Jyotish to the History Science again. This is the main topic of the essay in front of you, and you are definitely not wishing to miss it …

River Ravi, Parushani in ancient times, where the decisive Battle of ten kings against King Sudas took place. It was a tributary of the Sarasvati River at that time. Legend has it that one side cross the river, and then when pursuers were just in the middle, the river itself all of sudden miraculously has grown enormously and wiped out enemies of King Sudas. Is this the true origin and the source of the Biblical story about Exodus and crossing the Red (Reed) Sea?
