King Clovis the Great, who was he?
Well, I am not sure many would know that. If you ask for Alexander the Great, no problem, everybody knows about him. Even if you ask for Cyrus the Great, or Attila the Great, well, they are quite famous as well, and everybody would know about them definitely. However, if you ask for Clovis the Great, I am not sure that everybody would know. Yet, he was a very important king, especially because he made the first steps toward united Europe as we know it today. He was the first king of Europe that was raising up from the ruins of the vanishing Roman Empire, just like the mythological ever-living bird Phoenix, who is arising again and again in the endless cycle from the ashes of its predecessor.
You would probably ask also at what time period that was happening? Well, interestingly, this is coming just after the Attila the Great. Therefore, the story of king Clovis the Great is just the logical and the chronological continuation from the previous essay dealing with Attila the Great.
Well, when doing research on Attila, I was just wondering what happened next? I mean, was in wonder where to find the next incarnation of God Vishnu. I already have some candidates who would possibly come in just little bit later on, but who would come right after the Attila, well, that I did not know. Then, somehow, I saw that Attila had some military campaign on the Roman Province Gaul, and that gave me some clues. There was a mentioning of Franks in the belonging war. In fact, that was the first and only defeat of Attila. Indeed, this story, the story of Attila, connected me very intimately with the story of King Clovis the Great. This is where the Merovingian Dynasty occurs, which will be shaping the Europe for quite some time …
Thus, along with this new adventure, the Magic Carpet will take us right to the middle of the Western Europe, and the Time Machine will deliver us to the end of the fifth century after the Christ. There we find something very interesting indeed. The rest of the story, please find in yet another thrilling essay, which is downloadable from the link exposed below … Enjoy the reading!
